01
Access points used by multiple people
We work on common access points for residents, staff, suppliers or customers: entrance doors, community portals, offices, authorised technical rooms, shop shutters and metal doors. We assess the symptom and shared point before proposing a proportionate intervention. A building-wide issue is not handled as a simple key copy or individual cylinder change.
02
Authorisation and key handover
For a shared building or business access point, we confirm who may request and approve the work: property manager, building administrator, business manager, chairperson or representative. We agree an operational contact for decisions and key handover or return.
We do not request or publish access codes through public channels. Where a key must be coordinated, this is arranged with the authorised contact and appropriate identification.
- Authorised contact and working telephone number
- Address and affected door or closure
- Agreed method for key handover, custody or return
03
Doors, door closers and metal closures
We inspect closing faults, play, doors that do not return to position, hardware and door closers affecting shared traffic. For a faulty shutter or metal door, we assess whether the issue is the mechanical closure or a motorised component; we do not promise motor assistance before checking it.
- Doors that scrape, fail to close or remain held open
- Door closers with irregular travel or ineffective closing
- Blocked shutters and metal doors, or abnormal operation
04
Access continuity and exit routes
A shared door can affect entry and outward passage. We establish affected people and routes to coordinate a response with building or business management. Spain's INSST notes that exit routes should be kept clear and exit doors should be easy to operate. We do not issue remote compliance assessments: safety or regulatory concerns need review by the responsible qualified person.
